Roadrunner GSX11 and Bolliger Classic Gpz1100 win Classic Bol Rounds One, Two – Phase One Crash (really this time) Then Set Fastest Lap...
News from the Classic Bol d'Or is sparse, however, we know that Roadrunner (Suzuki GSX1100) won the first round from Poweracing Japauto (Honda 1100R) and Bolliger Classic (Kawasaki Gpz1100), and in the second round Bolliger Classic were first, Poweracing Japauto second and Nocki Classic (Egli Ligntening) third.
With two second places this might mean that Poweracing Japauto were the overall winner; congratualtion Jean-Claude Jauebert and Matthieu Sauve and the rest of the Poweracing Japauto team.
Sweatshop Phase One crashed out of the first round on oil while in touch with the leaders but then fought back with a series of fastest laps by Pete Linden. Their result in the second round was a similarly disappointing 10th in class and 25th overall.
The second round of the post-classic class was won by Team Paris Nord Honda's RC30, with the Plein Gaz Ducati 851 second and Twins Racing's Suzuki GSX-R750 third.
