Bol d'Or 24H: Final Qualifying and Provisional Pole

SRC Kawasaki take pole position – YART Yamaha 2nd, FCC TSR Honda 3rd, SERT Suzuki 4th, Honda Endurance 5th, GMT94 Yamaha 6th, Tecmas BMW 7th – Viltais Yamaha top STK – De Puniet only rider in 1:57s
The second qualifying session for tomorrow's bol d'Or 24 Hour round of the FIM Endurance world championship has just finished. Pole position has gone to Team SRC Kawasaki with an average lap time of 1:58.609. SRC Kawasaki also had the only rider to dip below the 1:58 mark with Randy De Puniet's 1:57.532. The team are not contesting the full FIM EWC series and are expected to just take part in the Bol d'Or and Le Mans 24 Hour races.
Second place on the grid has gone to YART Yamaha with an average of 1:58.915. Third was FCC TSR Honda on 1:58.946, with SERT Suzuki fourth on 1:58.987. These three teams are within seven hundredths of a second of each other and are all fighting for the championship honours.
Reigning champions Yamaha GMT94 are sixth on the grid (1:59.244) with Tecmas BMW seventh (1:59.767), EKO IVRacing BMW eighth (2:00.205), Yamaha Viltais Experience ninth and top SuperStock (2:00.271) and Voelpker NRT48 Schubert rounding out the top ten (2:00.515).
Bolliger Kawasaki were 13th overall, Maco Moto Yamaha were 14th, No Limits 25th and National Motos 26th. The team creating the most traffic on social media – Girls Racing Team – qualified 54th out of 59 entrants, with an average time of 2:07.304.
