The overall starting grid for today’s 4 Hour Race has been announced.  The grid is decided by average times across all riders in the team’s best times.  Neate Racing took pole (both fastest single lap and average time), followed by Team Taurus and Team Force.

Average timing has impacted the overall grid positions.  The Legends class sees Team Taurus and Road Runner move up behind Neate Racing.  The Superbike class sees the same top three but a shuffle in order, and Superstock sees the biggest change with both Generation Game and Parts Europe moving ahead of BAR Racing, who set the fastest individual time.

Breaking down the grid by class throws up an interesting result, as the top three in each class will be lined up more or less next to each other for the Le Man style start.

Top three by class (with overall grid position):

  • P9. Motobel
  • P18. Scudaria ACR III
  • P33. German Guzzi Classic Team

  • P1. Neate Racing
  • P2. Team Taurus
  • P6. Road Runner

  • P3. Team Force
  • P4. Phase One
  • P5. Team Classic Suzuki

  • P15. Generation Game
  • P17. Parts Europe
  • P18. BAR Europe

The Endurance Legends 4 Hour Classic starts at 11:30AM.  The weather today has been perfect for racing; dry, slightly cool but pleasant, with the forecast rain showing no signs of appearing (so far).
