Wet weather has afflicted two of the leading Endurance World Championship teams as they build up to the Le Mans 24 Hour race in just over two months time.

Leading Stocksport contenders Junior Team LMS Suzuki have been in action at the Le Mans Bugatti circuit, testing the new for 2017 Suzuki GSX-R1000. The limited tuning and modification rules for the Stocksport class mean that the additional power from the new Suzuki should make a significant difference on track, but in wet conditions any advantage would be hard to spot.

In Japan, leading Honda team FCC TSR Technical Sports Racing have been in action on their Honda Fireblade. They were also restricted by a wet track and were mostly using last year's bike but team members reported the 2017 Honda being “a big evolution” which is promising for the coming races.
