"It's an emotional time for the team and myself... I will be riding this bike in the late Anthony Delhalle's memory" - Cudlin joins Vincent Philippe and Etienne Masson on the factory supported GSX-R1000 at Le Mans...

SERT Suzuki's rider line-up has been confirmed, with Aussie Alex Cudlin stepping in after Anthony Delhalle's untimely death during testing earlier this month.

Cudlin: “Obviously it's an emotional time for the team and myself, and I will be riding this bike in the late Anthony Delhalle's memory. In 2013 I was lucky enough to ride for SERT Suzuki at the Le Mans 24 hours and this was because Anthony called Suzuki and helped me get the ride. I will do my best to help SERT win their 16th World Championship and in memory of Anthony.

“It's a very nice feeling to be walking into the best team in the paddock. SERT are by far the most winning team in the Championship and both Ettiene and Vincent are two very fast and experienced Endurance World Champions. To work alongside them will be a great honour and I look forward to the 2017 season.”

SERT Suzuki are currently leading the FIM Endurance World Championship standings after the first round of the 16/17 season, with 60 points giving them a 10 point lead over SRC Kawasaki. The next round of the 16/17 season is the Le Mans 24 Hour race which takes place over the Ester weekend, 15/16th April.
